In 2008 Edgars launched the energie fitness for women business in Latvia. He has a successful background in a variety of businesses, including: marketing, sales and finance, as well as general management His work experience included such managerial positions as Marketing Director of SIA Tilde, one of Latvia's leading software companies, and Chairman of the board of AS Cesu alus, Latvia's second biggest brewery. He has been an entrepreneur since 1990, and has established ans successfully managed several retail and wholesale companies. Edgars is enthusiastic about healthy living, fitness and sports. His interests include ice-hockey, Alpine skiing, and swimming. He has a 2nd Dan degree black belt and has won all-Latvia's karate competition several times.
