Our franchise owners come from many walks of life. Tom has previously worked in the fitness industry prior to becoming a Fit4less gym owner. Abigail joined us in 2007 and operates the successful énergie Fitness for Women club in Plymouth.

Tom was previously an employee of Fitness First and therefore unlike many of our franchisees had a fair knowledge of the industry and the standards required to make a successful fitness club. He became aware of the énergie franchise when an ex-colleague opened the énergie Fitness Club in Forest Hill, the club was trading better than expected and Tom was sufficiently impressed to enquire about the franchise himself and attend an énergie Discovery session.

Abigail read an advert in the paper looking for potential franchisees to own a fitness franchise. After careful research, which included looking at alternative fitness franchise opportunities, Abigail met with energie fitness for women and immediately felt that this was a business she could trust. In December 2007, she opened her energie franchise in Plymouth and hasn’t looked back.

I then loved the idea of being my own boss and the financial benefits that came with it.
