Since graduating from Leeds Carnegie in 1983, Innes has spent the ensuing 26 years working in the health and fitness industry. Serving his apprenticeship as a gym instructor at Fitness For Industry he graduated through club management, equipment sales, contract management, multi-site operations and sales and marketing. Most notably Innes has worked with Technogym, The DeVere Group, Fitness First and the Fitness Industry Association. Responsible for supporting the Direct Franchise clubs within the energie group, Innes applies his skills and experience to drive brand standards, operating procedures, training and product development.

CEO and company Sports Scientist, Jonathan founded SHOKK ltd at the end of 1999. Growing the company from a desk and a phone, SHOKK® is now a multi million pound business and has firmly established itself in youth fitness as the global brand leader. With a wealth of experience in all aspects of business within sport and leisure Jonathan has a large degree of transferable skills meaning that he is now asked to perform a plethora of external roles. Just recently Jonathan was short listed for exclusive 42 Under 42 Award, North West Business Insiders young entrepreneur of the year award. As a Loughborough Graduate and qualified PE teacher, Jonathan’s knowledge in the area of youth related exercise goes back over 12 years and has been the cornerstone of the development of SHOKK®. Jonathan is also one of the nation’s leading experts on strength & conditioning in young people and its relevance both to human movement and athletic development/elite sport.

Peter Croney

As owner and director of a number of businesses Peter has a wealth of experience in management, sales and marketing. Peter has guided several companies from start up or poor performance to exceptional results. With both grass roots, corporate sales and marketing expertise and also the benefit of having run a 600 strong sales force, Peter is ideally placed to help franchisees make a success from their business. Peter has had a life long interest in health and fitness and in the last 7 years has been both an owner, manager and investor in health and fitness clubs with a particular interest in the “women’s only” market sector resulting in the creation of a highly successful business model.

Darran Morford

Darran Morford joins the énergie Personal Fitness team from the Financial Payment Card Industry. He has 20 years Management experience and for the past 8 years has been the CEO of a successful global management consultancy company working with some of the leading financial institutions in the world including Visa International, American Express, CitiGroup and many other banks across Europe, Middle East Africa and Asia Pacific. He brings valuable financial, business and entrepreneurial vision to the team. Darran is an active fitness person enjoying a variety of sports and fitness activities. He is committed to applying this passion and his business skills to assist Personal Training Franchisees achieve their goals in creating a successful business along with improving the health of the nation.
